Getting started

What is Iris?

A personal AI that remembers what matters to you, thinks problems through with you, and does the follow-up. It asks before anything leaves your hands.

Is it a chatbot, or a coding assistant?

Neither. It isn’t a general chat window and it isn’t a coding agent. Iris is built around one thing: your actual life, the people, plans and decisions in it.

How do I get access?

Request access on this site and we’ll email you when it’s ready.

Request access
Where can I use it?

On the web and in the mobile app. It’s the same thread in both places, so you can start at your desk and carry on from your phone, by text or by voice.

How much does it cost?

We’ll always show you the price before you pay for anything, and you will never be charged for anything you haven’t agreed to first.

Memory and privacy

What does Iris remember?

The things likely to matter later: people and how you know them, dates, commitments, preferences and the projects you’re working on. Every note is visible to you, with where it came from.

Can I see or delete what it remembers?

Yes. Your memory is a list you can read. Correct any note, or forget it.

Are my conversations used to train AI?

No. We don’t use your conversations to train AI models, we only use AI providers that commit not to, and we never sell them or share them for advertising.

Who can see my conversations?

You. A small number of our team can reach account data, only when it’s needed to keep the service running, to look into a problem you’ve reported, or when the law requires it.

Where is my data stored?

With the providers that host Iris and run its AI, which may be in the UK, the European Economic Area or the United States. Transfers are protected by the safeguards the privacy policy describes.

Read the privacy policy
Can I delete my account?

Yes. Ask us at iris@ferrolo.com and we’ll delete your account, conversations and memory, apart from anything the law makes us keep.

What it can do

What can Iris connect to?

Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive, plus the web for research. You connect each one yourself and can disconnect it at any time.

See what it does with each
Will it send emails or change my calendar on its own?

No. Iris drafts and proposes. Anything that leaves your hands, like a sent email or an invite other people will see, waits for your go-ahead.

What are goals and automations?

A goal is an outcome you hand over, like watching for a price to drop. Iris works on it in the background and tells you when it’s done. An automation is something that runs on a schedule, like a brief every weekday morning.

How does voice work?

Start a voice conversation and just talk. There’s no button to hold, you can interrupt at any point, and everything said is kept in the same thread as text.

Can Iris be wrong?

Yes. Like every AI, it can misread a situation or state something with more confidence than it deserves. Check anything important before you act on it.
